The Step-by-Step PCX Manufacturing Process

When you work with PCX, our team will guide you through our systematic process to bring your project from a strong start to a successful finish.

1. CONCEPTUALIZATION

2. PROCUREMENT

Once we have a plan, we can start procuring the raw materials and subcomponents needed to create your custom modular system. We keep a variety of materials in stock and have solid vendor relationships to speed up the process.

3. Heavy Fabrication

The fabrication process starts with heavy fabrication, such as the construction of a structural steel frame to house equipment. PCX works with high-quality materials to create durable structures.

4. Lighter Fabrication

PCX manufacturers then move on to the finer details to complete the design. For example, this might include adding insulation, completing the interior and exterior facade and installing subsystems to support the infrastructure.

5. Assembly

Once fabrication is largely complete and all parts have been procured, the PCX manufacturing team can assemble the components that will turn the structure into a functional skidded system or modular data center.

6. Testing

PCX carefully tests products to ensure they’re fully functional and meet all relevant safety and quality standards before shipping them out. This means on-site testing is not necessary, which speeds up deployment considerably.

8. Shipping

Completed products are carefully wrapped in three layers of non-permeable materials and equipped with condensation control to protect them from the elements. From our manufacturing facilities to the final site, shipping trucks are followed by field service technicians who ensure products are fully protected at all times and mediate any issues that may arise.
